Jacoby Ellsbury better start to realize the fact that in sports you have to deal with injuries. If he does not figure that out sooner or later, he's going to be in trade talks. the Red Sox could get some great players for him, and they already have someone waiting in the wings, and that is Reymond Fuentes. He was the first round pick for the Sox last year, and he is currently hitting .269 with 3 hrs, 21 RBI and 16 SBs for the Class A Greenville Drive. The scouting report says that he is an "athletic center fielder plays the game at full tilt, the type of player that will make a lot of highlight reels." Fuentes is the cousin of Carlos Beltran, and he MLB comparison is none other than, Jacoby Ellsbury. All I can say is, Jacoby Ellsbury, watch out.
I think you are right about Ellsbury being a schmuck, but a player hitting .269 in Class A ball is nothing like an MLB hitter who can hit .300 and steal more than 50 bases. Ellsbury is also an excellent center fielder with unmatched speed, except for Brett Gardner of course. He can hit and field, and the Red Sox would be giving up a great young player if they gave up Ellsbury. I just don't think that Theo would be willing to give up Ellsbury unless he got several good players.

ya i agree with sully to a point (brett gardner???) but its true that ellsbury is just moping around cuz the sox got cameron....now it seems like he's playing his injury out and just being a baby....the fact is he has to realize that he is not indispensible - in 2 or 3 years a guy like fuentes or someone else will be good enough out of the farm system to take his place - so he is an amazing player but he just has to go out and play and not worry whether he is in center or left although there is no question he should be in center and cameron in left

Bunce, Brett Gardner is hitting .311 and has 20 stolen bases on the year so far.
